So a couple of weeks ago my fiance, Melissa, and I set out to make a video about our story together as a couple. What began as an attempt to win free photography for our wedding turned into so much more…

To tell our story we dropped everything and for 7 days straight we relived 12 years, traveling all across Connecticut to places that held old memories; interviewing each other for hours on end; laughing hysterically as we created ridiculous “movie scenes”; editing our brains out; wiping away each others tears; and gaining a new appreciation for each other along the way. We realized even more how much we can accomplish together. It was an incredible week!

Long story short – we posted the video, emailed our entry, and went through a fun/suspenseful/stressful voting process. The voting closed, the photographers deliberated (see here), and… well… unfortunately we didn’t win. After all that, we were definitely a bit bummed but more than anything we were so grateful for how this giveaway motivated us and gave us a reason to record such an important and meaningful time in our life.

During the contest, we hit up a lot of people for votes and we just want to thank everyone again from the bottom of our hearts for all of your wonderful comments, likes, and shares! We wouldn’t even have had a chance without your amazing support! Every single “like” mattered so much to us and we certainly felt the LOVE!!!

If you haven’t seen it yet, we hope you enjoy our video as much as we did making it!

You may or may not have noticed but the site has been screwed up for a couple days. Sorry about that. We were doing a routine update, something happened, and the site reverted back to an earlier version… which means that we lost a lot of updates and most importantly the blog posts we worked so hard on. Needless to say, chaos ensued and there have been tears. My dedicated fiancee, Melissa, is doing everything she can to restore the site back to how it was… most of the pages are pretty much back to normal. Now she’s working on restoring the blog. We might lose all of the link-backs and wonderful comments you all kindly left but hopefully we can at least get the posts back. Sorry you guys. Wish us luck!!
