The mag features fashion and style profiles, interviews with rising artists, classy conversation about sex, and beautifully illustrated travel stories. It’s All About Passion! That’s the slogan for hDL – Home Design & Life Style – a high-end magazine that features the latest trends in fashion, design, lifestyle, and art. My painting, Pele, made it on the cover of their latest issue (my first magazine cover!). The publication is from Israel and when the production manager, Gil, sent me a copy, I expected that it would be in Hebrew but it was still a little surprising to open the cover on the left side (the issue reads right to left)! There is an awesome spread with some of my older work and I completed an interview which you can read in English here. Curry’s ArtWise

SUMMER 2010

I was selected as the artist of the month for the summer issue of Curry’s ArtWise, a really great e-publication/newsletter from Curry’s Art Store located in Ontario, Canada. The issue includes four paintings – Pele, Girl and the Owl, Going West, and Auburn – and I offer my personal thoughts and inspirations behind each piece. Oranges and Sardines (O&S) is a magazine that presents new voices in both visual and written arts. Uncluttered by advertisements and postings of workshops or gallery reviews, O&S simply places art before the reader’s eyes and invites thoughtful responses. The Creep Machine is a webzine/blog dedicated to alternative, underground, outsider, lowbrow or pop surrealism art. Whatever you feel like calling it, it’s about art seen in a variety of mediums.
